Bryson Lew Joins WSM for the 2018 FormulaSPEED Championship

World Speed Motorsports announced today that 2017 Sanzaru Bryson Lew FormulaSPEED racerKarting Championship Jr. ROK Champion Bryson Lew is joining the squad to compete in the FormulaSPEED class of the 2018 FCC Championships.
“We have had our eye on Bryson for awhile, and selected him as a WSM Rising Star Award Winner this past season” noted WSM Team Principal Telo Stewart. “We worked with him alongside VMB Driver Development when he was invited out to their scholarship test, and his driving and professionalism really impressed us. We are excited to have Bryson join our squad, and look forward to getting him into the winner’s circle.”
“I’m excited to be part of the World Speed Motorsports team and racing the FormulaSPEED in the Formula Car Challenge series,” added Lew.  Telo and his team have established a great program for young drivers like me to develop their racing skills.  I look forward to applying my six years of kart racing experience to my first year in race cars and meeting new people in the racing community.  It will be an amazing year as I learn each new track, expand my data analysis skills, and most importantly, develop my ability to drive the car to its full potential.”

About Bryson Lew:
Bryson has raced karts for six years, starting at age 8.  For 2017, he won the Sanzaru Games Karting Championship in Jr. ROK, the West Coast ROK shootout, Challenge of the Americas Round 5, and represented Team USA at the ROK Cup International Finals in Italy.  For 2016, he was Vice-Champion of the Sanzaru Games Karting Championship in Jr. Rotax.
