Courtney Crone Racing is excited to announce that she will be racing in the remaining rounds of the 2020 Formula Pro USA Western Championship, piloting the #25 World Speed Motorsports / VMB Driver Development F4 car. The announcement comes after the decision was made to not participate in the 2020 F4 U.S. Championship due to COVID-19 related issues. Looking to put the first half of the year behind her, Crone is eager to carry on an extensive test, training, and race schedule in the F4 car alongside WSM for 2020.
The remainder of the FP USA events consist of three race weekends, two at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca, and the finale taking place at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA. Each weekend will hold a double-header, featuring two 30-minute races.
Along with an exciting road racing schedule on the books, Courtney will also be taking on the “Night Before the 500” in the Jerome Rodela / Trench Shoring midget at Indy Raceway Park on August 22nd.
The Indiana short-track tradition will be returning in 2020 after a five year hiatus as a prelude to the 104th Indianapolis 500. Crone is certainly excited to get back behind the wheel of a midget, and especially at one of the countries most prestigious pavement midget races.
Courtney would like to extend a big Thank you out to all of her partners: Myobrace, Trench Shoring, The Morgan Group, Rodela Specialty Fabrication, World Speed Motorsports, Chegg, VMB Driver Development, FFP Racing, Cement Cutting Inc, Manuel Leonardo, Pac West Rentals, Sammy Tanner Distributing/Arai Helmets, Stand 21 Racewear, Troy Lee Designs, Racing Optics, and Team Swolen for all of the continued support through these trying times.
