World Speed Motorsports is thrilled to announce the signing of promising young talent, Yashom Kapoor. This exciting partnership marks a significant step in Kapoor’s motorsport career and reinforces World Speed’s commitment to developing future racing champions. Kapoor, a rising karting talent with a strong track record, will compete in the 2025 Formula Pro USA F4 Championship.

“Racing has always been about pushing my boundaries and becoming a more disciplined, intelligent, and capable driver and person,” noted Kapoor. “I truly appreciate everyone who supported me throughout my karting career, and with World Speed, I’m more motivated than ever to take this next step.”

The first two rounds of the Formula Pro USA F4 Championships take place at Sonoma Raceway March 15th and 16th.


ABOUT YASHOM:

Yashom Kapoor has been karting for a decade, beginning his competitive career in 2014 at Michiana Raceway Park in South Bend. After winning the championship there in 2015 and achieving a third-place finish in Yamaha cadet in 2016, he transitioned to racing at Route 66 and other Midwest series. In 2019, following a move to California, Yashom progressed to junior karts at Prairie City, securing a third-place finish in his debut race.

This past season, he achieved second place in both the ROK Sonoma and Prairie City Spring Series Championships, accumulating four victories. Additionally, he secured a third-place finish at ROK Pacific, with notable second and third-place finishes across the weekend. Yashom was also selected to be a 2025 VMB Driver Development Scholarship finalist.

Currently pursuing Data Science at UC Berkeley, Yashom has developed a strong interest in the data analytics aspect of racing.
